MURALS & STREET ART PROJECTS

Welcome to my Mural and Street Art Projects page, where I share my passion for creating vibrant, meaningful, and thought-provoking artwork. My work spans a range of mediums and environments, from large exterior murals to interior wall art and painted metal shipping containers. Each project is a unique opportunity to bring my love for nature, wildlife, and environmental awareness to life through bold and colourful designs.

I specialise in creating artwork for a variety of surfaces and spaces, using specialist paints and techniques to ensure that each piece is long-lasting and visually striking. Whether you’re looking to transform an office, brighten up a business space, or add a striking feature to an exterior wall, I can tailor my designs to suit your needs. From large murals that cover entire walls to smaller, intricate pieces, I have the skill set to handle projects of all sizes and complexities.

One of the things I love about working with murals is the ability to merge art with architecture. I enjoy the challenge of considering the texture, shape, and surroundings of a space, ensuring the artwork complements and enhances the environment. Whether it’s an urban street corner, a company’s headquarters, or a public space, I always approach each project with a fresh perspective and a commitment to making a positive impact.

A central theme in my work is a deep connection to nature and a strong passion for wildlife conservation. I believe art has a unique power to provoke thought and spark change, which is why many of my murals focus on environmental themes. Issues such as poaching, climate change, deforestation and the destruction of marine ecosystems are close to my heart, and I use my art to help raise awareness about these critical topics.

For instance, I have created artwork that highlights the alarming effects of global warming, such as rising sea temperatures causing coral reef bleaching. Coral reefs, which are vital to the health of our oceans, are rapidly disappearing as a result of warming waters, acidification, and pollution. Through my murals, I aim to draw attention to these issues, inspiring people to take action and become stewards of our planet.

Through my murals, I hope to spark conversations about the environment and inspire people to think about the ways in which we can all contribute to a healthier, more sustainable world. Whether it’s celebrating the beauty of nature or highlighting the urgent need for conservation, my art strives to foster a greater sense of connection to the natural world.

I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of community-driven art projects, collaborating with organisations such as Bristol City Council,  Sustrans and Bristol Festival of Nature. One of the most fulfilling aspects of street art is its ability to connect with a wide audience, particularly when the artwork is located in public spaces where people from all walks of life can engage with it. These community projects often provide an opportunity to explore themes that resonate on a local level, fostering a sense of pride and ownership within the community.

One notable project I worked on was a collaboration with the Underfall Yard Trust in Bristol. The Underfall Yard is a historic site that plays an important role in the maintenance and operation of Bristol’s harbourside. My mural there helped to highlight the crucial work of the Harbour Master team, who ensure the safe and efficient operation of the harbour. Through a detailed and engaging mural, we were able to tell the story of their work and educate the public about the importance of preserving this vital part of Bristol’s maritime heritage.

Working with organisations like Sustrans has also allowed me to be part of projects that aim to make public spaces more engaging and inclusive. Sustrans is a charity focused on creating healthier, more sustainable travel options, and together, we’ve worked on several street art initiatives designed to brighten up public transport routes and cycle paths, while raising awareness of environmental and social issues.

In addition to public art projects, I also take on private commissions, creating bespoke murals for businesses, offices, and private residences. For example, I worked with SunLife Insurance to design a mural that reflected the company’s values and mission through hand-drawn lettering and illustrations. By incorporating key themes of passion, courage, and responsibility, I was able to craft a piece of art that not only beautified the office but also communicated the company’s ethos in a visually compelling way.

No matter the scale or setting, I approach each private commission with the same level of dedication, ensuring that the artwork aligns with the client’s vision while also making a strong aesthetic impact. Whether it’s a contemporary office space or a more traditional setting, I work closely with my clients to create designs that fit seamlessly into their environment.

One of the most exciting parts of my work is taking part in street art festivals and collaborating with other artists. I’ve had the privilege of being involved in events like the Cheltenham Paint Festival and Upfest, two of the UK’s premier street art festivals. These events bring together talented artists from all over the world and provide an inspiring platform for sharing ideas, techniques, and creative energy.

For me, these festivals are more than just an opportunity to showcase my work – they’re a chance to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my passion for creativity and environmentalism. Whether I’m painting a wall or exchanging ideas with fellow artists, these experiences help me grow both as an artist and as a person. I find it incredibly inspiring to be part of a community that is dedicated to using art as a means of positive change.

As I continue to grow in my career and explore new techniques and mediums, I remain deeply committed to the idea of using art to make a difference. My work is a reflection of my beliefs – that art can be a powerful tool for social change, that it can educate and inspire, and that it can encourage people to think critically about the world around them.

Whether I’m working on a large scale mural in a public space or a smaller indoor commission, I always strive to stay true to my values. Creativity, conservation, and collaboration are at the heart of everything I do.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my mural and street art projects.
